Hi Frank, yes absolutely. I fully know that the point that newspaper was trying to make was about the intra-Africa slave trade. I did not want my article to promote their points and views. That was not the purpose of my article. I was rather trying to explain how that disgusting depiction of Obono made me feel as a black woman and the ideology behind it: white supremacy and racism. That depiction is extremely hurtful and humiliating for me and many other black women regardless of whatever the point being made. Do you see where I am coming from?
