Doria Ragland, Meghan Markle’s mom has been trending on X, formerly Twitter, all day.

Why?

Well, she attended the 5th edition of a charity event called “This Is About Humanity” in Los Angeles last Sunday. Photos of the event showed her with Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian. In them, Doria is beautiful, youthful, glowing, relaxed and happy.

Well, I guess that was too much for the British media. They’ve gone haywire in their criticism of the Duchess of Sussex’s mother. Criticizing her for using her relationship with the royals to schmooze with celebrities.

The facts are, that those same papers have been spreading rumors that Harry and Meghan are about to divorce, that Meghan is going through a deep depression, and that Harry is unhappy and has rented a hotel room to get away from his oppressive wife. None of this has been confirmed as true by the way.

The rumor mill has been running non-stop with fake news and misinformation. There is little doubt that the media were not at all expecting to see a radiant, smiling Doria Ragland at a charity event in Los Angeles living it up with the Kardashians.

They seem surprised, especially since they’ve spread rumors that the whole of Hollywood isn’t on speaking terms with Harry and Meghan and absolutely detest them. Doria’s smiling face tells a whole different story.

Apart from Doria, Harry and Meghan have been very discreet. Harry came to the UK for his dad’s coronation and his court case. He will also be in the UK for one of his charity events this week before heading to Dusseldorf for the Invictus Games.

The media are frustrated because they are in reactive mode. Harry and Meghan are controlling the narrative, what they want the media to see and not the opposite.
