When D&I programs started off, I thought they were a good thing, and then after years of implementation of these programs, I began to see the downside. At the end of the day, the D&I hire pays the price. Many companies made big lofty announcements about D&I and BLM upon George Floyd’s passing, but I noticed that none are really training their entire workforce on anti-racism. This is what needs to be done to change the culture.
